  • Assisting in complying with Polish, EU and international e-commerce regulations, including data protection laws, consumer rights, online payment regulations, and acts such as the EU Omnibus Directive, the EU Digital Markets Act, and the EU Digital Services Act.

  • Representing before administrative authorities and courts in proceedings related to the e-commerce industry.
  • Trainings and workshops on current regulations, best practices and strategies related to running an e-commerce business for legal compliance.

Selected experience

  • Preparing complete online documentation for a number of SaaS cloud computing providers
  • Prepared all documentation for online stores and platforms, and ongoing maintenance for compliance, including for the Polish branch of the international online retailer.
  • Comprehensive support regarding data protection regulations relevant to our e-commerce business clients. This includes everything from strategies for approaching data processing within the bounds of current laws, to drafting external policies such as privacy policies, and managing internal records such as records of data processing activities.
  • Consulting in the area of the use of cookies and other similar technologies in e-commerce activities, in accordance with regulations for a number of e-commerce businesses, including: identifying the cookies used and preparing policies for the use of cookies and banners informing of the use of cookies.

  • We cooperate and work with the Polish Advertising Council, a non-governmental (non-profit) organization dedicated to the creation, promotion and protection of the principles that advertising should follow, which has deepened our already strong competency in the digital advertising market.
  • "Guide to the GDPR" ("RODO. Przewodnik ze wzorami") is the most widely read book on GDPR (more than 15 thousand copies sold in the first 2 years), recommended by PUODO (the Polish Data Protection Agency)
  • Our publications and presentations are available, among others, on the PUODO website.
  • We participated in consultations on amendments to the Polish Electronic Services Act.
