We help with legal and operational requirements such as chooising the right legal form and opening a bank account.
What we offer
- Support in the process of creating NGOs, specifically: (i) advice on choosing the appropriate legal form, (ii) preparation of founding documents, (iii) advice on corporate governance and NGO management methods
- Support for NGOs in the early stages of development, particularly in: (i) determining and reporting ultimate beneficial owners, (ii) preparing corporate regulations, (iii) preparing GDPR regulations, (iv) support in fulfilling other public law obligations
- Ongoing corporate services and support in relations with third parties, e.g., when concluding sponsorship or project financing agreements
- Support in the process of obtaining and maintaining Public Benefit Organization (PBO) status
Selected experience
- Establishment of several Polish foundations on behalf of large international NGOs acting as founders, followed by comprehensive ongoing service, including reviewing and concluding agreements, representation before public administration bodies and in business relation
- Establishment of an industry-integrating NGO on behalf of a state-owned company, with industry entities from across Europe becoming members in the early stages. Assistance in meeting requirements for joining a renowned foreign international organization. Help in organizing industry events, including reviewing partnership agreements
- Implementation of changes to corporate documents in one of the largest sports associations in Poland, starting from analyzing existing corporate regulations, proposing changes, conducting internal consultations, and supporting the Board during the association's authorities' deliberations on proposed changes
- A series of training sessions for NGOs on formal and legal aspects of foundations and associations' activities, including preparation and provision of model corporate documents.
- Legal support for an NGO in a two-year project to support SME entrepreneurship, consisting of providing free legal assistance to SME entrepreneurs and participating in regular meetings with entrepreneurs
