Bio
Marek Śliwiński is a member of the Financial Regulations team at Gawroński & Partners. Marek advises on anti-money laundering matters, banking law, payment services, as well as data protection and technology.
Before joining Gawroński & Partners in April 2021, Marek gained experience in reputable Warsaw law firms and in a legal department of a computer games producer.
Education
Marek graduated from the Law Faculty of the University of Warsaw. He participated in lectures of the School of German Law. He is also a graduate of a prestigious Law Faculty of the Ruprecht Karl University of Heidelberg.
Marek focused his master’s thesis on the protection of personal rights.
Selected projects:
- preparation of anti-money laundering procedures
- legal opinion concerning aspects of data processing in the vaccination programme
- advice concerning implementation of cloud services, with regard to data protection compliance
