Price changes in the market disadvantage construction contract contractors, who point to improper practices in road construction proceedings.The President of the Public Procurement Office is open to talks, which are scheduled for the fall.
“The Public Procurement Law requires that in contracts for construction works concluded for a period longer than 12 months, the contracting authority should provide rules for introducing changes in the amount of the contractor’s remuneration in case of changes in the price of materials or costs related to the execution of the contract (…),” comments attorney Jacek Liput.
