A bill has emerged called, for all appearances, “Anti-Crisis Shield II,” which, courtesy of editor Jolanta Ojczyk, I was able to read today. So let’s start with the fact that the term “Anti-Crisis Shield II” is misleading and an example of Orwellian newspeak. The provisions of the draft of this “Shield II” aim to strengthen the protection of the state and its coercive and surveillance apparatus over citizens, according to the best conspiracy theories. The bill should rather be called “The Sword.”
