Courts are questioning the rationale for punishing non-compliance with the order to cover the mouth and nose.
The District Court in Minsk Mazowiecki ruled that these actions, despite a change in the law to perfect the statutory delegation, were still illegal.
Attorney Maciej Gawronski, in a statement to Rzeczpospolita, comments:
“If we have concerns and doubts about accepting a fine, we can always be tempted to seek judicial review of this offense (…).”
